Our Story
Dominguez Executive Transport was founded in Houston by Roberto Domínguez, a chauffeur who spent years driving executives and learned the industry's real secret from behind the wheel: anyone can buy the vehicle, nobody can buy the driver who knows the right terminal, the right entrance, and what to do when plans change mid-route. He built DET on that conviction, and he still drives today, because a standard can only be led from the driver's seat.
What began as one chauffeur and one black Escalade is now a family-run company. Roberto leads the service; his wife Angela has built the business side since day one: the partnerships, the technology and the systems behind every reservation. DET publishes its own editorial on service excellence, The DET Standard, operates its own booking app (My DET, on the App Store and Google Play), and in 2026 established its first international affiliate alliance in Europe, coordinating seamless ground transportation for clients traveling between Houston and the Netherlands.
What We Do
We serve Greater Houston: George Bush Intercontinental (IAH), Hobby (HOU), Galveston cruise terminals, and long-distance service within Texas (Galveston, Austin, Dallas, College Station). Bilingual chauffeurs (English/Spanish) on every reservation, flight and ship monitoring, meet & greet at every airport pickup. Discreet, patient-sensitive transfers for Texas Medical Center and MD Anderson travelers and their families are a specialty of the house.
