What are the billing/credit terms?

Accepted Answer

Once a credit application is approved, full payment is due upon receipt of statement. Accounts
unpaid more than 10 days past the statement closing date accrue a 1% monthly finance charge
(12% APR) and may be charged to the backup credit card on file. Vitesse is not responsible for
personal property left in vehicles.

Are there additional fees I should know about?

Accepted Answer

Tolls, parking, chauffeur's 15% gratuity, and a variable fuel surcharge (STC)
Additional stops: $10 (same town/airport) or $15 (out-of-town)
Late-night pick-up/drop-off (midnight–5:00 a.m.): +$20
Six major annual public holidays: +$20 surcharge
New York City trips below 34th Street: +$10

What is Vitesse's severe weather policy?

Accepted Answer

Vitesse monitors forecasts for at least 24 hours before a major storm and consults with State
Police or local authorities on hazardous conditions. Operations are only suspended when
conditions are forecast to be extremely hazardous. If service is suspended, Vitesse attempts to
contact all affected clients to reschedule, and will still arrange pickup for anyone already in
transit to avoid being stranded.

How do I find my chauffeur at the airport?

Accepted Answer

Chauffeurs display a sign with the passenger's name. For domestic flights, they wait at the
luggage carousel (where permitted); for international flights, outside of Customs. If you can't
locate your chauffeur, call the 24-hour Dispatch Department at (800) 637-3373 — leaving the
location without calling may result in a no-show charge.

What if my flight is diverted or delayed?

Accepted Answer

Flights are tracked via Flight View, and pickups are automatically rescheduled based on the
latest arrival estimate. If a flight is diverted, contact the 24-hour Dispatch line at (800) 637-3373
as soon as possible. Vitesse is not liable for extra charges resulting from a diversion, though
these may be claimable from the airline.

What happens if the vehicle is already en route when I cancel?

Accepted Answer

A full no-show charge applies, including gratuity and all applicable fees (parking, tolls, wait
time, etc.)

What are the cancellation windows for international trips?

Accepted Answer

-Sedan: 24 hours before pick-up
-SUV/Van/Limousine (or similar): 72 hours before pick-up
-Mini-Bus/Motor Coach: 14 days in advance
Late cancellations or no-shows are charged in full, including gratuity and applicable fees

What are the cancellation windows for domestic (U.S.) trips?

Accepted Answer

-Point-to-point, Sedan: cancel at least 2 hours before pick-up
-Point-to-point, SUV/Van/Limousine/BMW/Mercedes/Exotic: cancel at least 5 hours before
pick-up (late cancellation charged 2 hours at the vehicle rate, or full charge depending on
location)
-Hourly charter, Sedan: cancel at least 8 hours before pick-up
-Hourly charter, SUV/Van/Limousine/BMW/Mercedes/Exotic: cancel at least 12 hours before
pick-up
-Mini-Bus: cancel 7 days in advance (late fee $300)
-Motor Coach: cancel 14 days in advance (late fee 50% of trip cost)
Wilkes-Barre, PA: 48 hours for all vehicle types except buses
-Alaska: 14 days for all vehicle types

Can chauffeurs take reservations or changes directly?

Accepted Answer

No. Chauffeurs cannot accept new reservations or reservation changes — these must go through
the reservations system or the 24-hour call center at (800) 637-3373.

How does Vitesse track flights for airport pickups?

Accepted Answer

Vitesse uses Flight View software, linked to the FAA Data Center, which is updated every three
minutes to monitor commercial and private aircraft and ensure timely pickups. Chauffeurs
require a minimum of 90 minutes' notice for U.S. airport pickups.
