GNet Connect is the B2B marketplace for ground transportation, built by GRiDD Technologies. We’re a small, dedicated team with a big mission: give the $10+ billion ground transportation industry the tools it needs to compete in the 21st century — without having to reinvent existing technology.
How GNet Was Born
In 2011, GRiDD Technologies founder and CEO Amir Zafar was working with a client building a proprietary reservation system. The client wanted all affiliates to use the same app — and Zafar saw a systemic problem. He asked a question no one in the industry had answered: “Why isn’t there a network? Why should everyone use the same app?”
After two years of research, Zafar found no one building a true open standard for ground transportation connectivity. So he built it himself. In 2015, GNet launched — the first open connectivity platform for the global chauffeured and ground transportation industry.
The philosophy behind GNet has never changed: “Evolution. Not Revolution.” Features are built from operator feedback. The transportation industry itself shapes the direction of the platform.

Amir brings close to 30 years of experience in systems integration and technology ventures. Prior to founding GRiDD Technologies, he co-founded AAXIS Commerce, a global e-commerce agency. He is a recognized voice in the chauffeured transportation industry and has been featured in Chauffeur Driven magazine.
