If you missed this week’s Workshop Wednesday, we took a hands-on look at how operators can optimize their GNet Connect profiles for AI-powered discovery and make the most of the latest Affiliate Needs enhancements.

Rather than focusing on theory, this session demonstrated exactly where operators should spend their time inside GNet Connect to improve visibility, attract more affiliate opportunities, and prepare for the next generation of search.

AI Discovery Starts With Your Profile

Search is changing.

While traditional SEO relied heavily on keywords, today’s AI tools—including ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity—look for structured, specific information when recommending businesses.

During the workshop, Sina explained that every GNet Connect profile is a public, indexable webpage. That means your profile can be discovered not only by operators searching within GNet, but also by search engines and AI assistants  (AI Chat bots).

A complete profile helps answer the questions buyers are already asking before they ever contact you.

The team recommended prioritizing these four sections:

  • Locations
  • Fleet
  • Services
  • FAQs

Specific information such as vehicle types, passenger capacity, and service offerings performs significantly better than generic marketing language.

Why FAQs Matter More Than Ever

One of the biggest takeaways from the session was the importance of the FAQ section.

Unlike traditional website copy, FAQs mirror the natural questions buyers ask and provide AI systems with structured content that is easier to understand and recommend.

The built-in AI FAQ Generator uses the information already stored in your profile to draft relevant questions and answers. Members can review, edit, regenerate, and publish FAQs without starting from scratch.

The better your profile data, the better your FAQs.

Affiliate Needs Just Got Smarter

The workshop also covered recent improvements to Affiliate Needs.

The new radius feature allows operators to broadcast requests to verified partners within a defined geographic area using addresses, ZIP codes, airports, or landmarks.

When a request is posted, qualified operators receive notifications through their preferred communication method, allowing partners to connect faster while keeping conversations inside the GNet platform.

This provides a more targeted and professional alternative to large social media groups or public messaging channels.

Stay Visible With the Activity Feed

The team also demonstrated how the Activity Feed helps members remain visible throughout the network.

Adding vehicles, services, locations, documents, or company updates automatically generates activity that appears in the community feed.

Rather than updating your profile once and forgetting about it, consistent activity helps keep your business in front of other operators looking for affiliate partners.

One More Important Update

During the workshop, the team confirmed that previous subscription-based limits on profile content have been removed.

Members can now fully describe their fleet, services, and locations regardless of plan level, making it easier for every operator to build a complete profile and maximize discoverability.

What’s Coming Next

If you haven’t updated your profile recently, now is the perfect time.

Focus on completing your:

  • Locations
  • Fleet
  • Services
  • FAQs

Then begin using Affiliate Needs, explore the Activity Feed, and review your profile analytics to see how operators are finding your business.
