The 5 Essential Shots

A complete fleet photo set covers these five shot types.

1

Exterior Profile Shot

What: Full side view of each primary vehicle type
How: Shoot at a 45° angle from the front, at vehicle height, in indirect natural light
Where: Clean background — parking lot, garage exterior, or tree-lined street
Avoid: Direct midday sun (harsh shadows), cluttered backgrounds, dirty vehicles
Pro tip: “Wash the vehicle the morning of the shoot. Small dirt smudges are very visible in profile shots.”
2

Interior — Passenger Cabin

What: Rear cabin showing seats, headroom, legroom
How: Shoot from the open rear door, slightly above center
Include: Clean upholstery, no personal items, any premium amenities (phone charger, wifi, water bottles)
Avoid: Flash (creates glare), personal items visible
3

Interior — Front Cabin / Driver’s Area

What: Clean dashboard and driver area
How: Shoot from passenger seat looking toward windshield
Include: GPS/screen if permitted, professional appearance
Pro tip: “If your vehicles have a GNet or company branding sticker, make sure it’s in frame.”
4

Fleet Overview

What: Multiple vehicles together (even 2 cars side by side works)
How: Slightly elevated angle if possible, vehicles clean, consistent orientation
Goal: “Shows buyers you operate a real fleet, not just a single car.”
5

Detail Shots

What: Close-ups of differentiating amenities
Examples: USB/wireless charger ports, leather seats, partition, privacy glass, executive headrests, luggage space, company livery/branding
How: Natural light or well-lit interior, tightly framed
