Do you accept farm-in work from other operators?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We take farm-in work from operators, travel management companies and DMCs, in London, the Home Counties and long distance UK. Each job is quoted individually rather than from a fixed sheet, so send the route, the vehicle class and the timings and we will come back with a net rate. We never auto-accept, so you always get a confirmed answer from a person.

Which airports and areas do you cover?

Accepted Answer

Heathrow, Gatwick, London City, Stansted and Luton as standard, with Southampton, Birmingham and the regional airports on request. On the ground we cover Greater London and the Home Counties, plus long distance UK and cross Channel journeys. Airport arrivals are flight tracked, so waiting time runs from the actual landing time rather than the scheduled one.

What vehicle classes do you offer?

Accepted Answer

Nine classes. Standard Saloon, Business Class, Business Class Electric, First Class, First Class Electric, Business Van, Business Van Electric, SUV, and Sprinter at 8, 16 or 22 seats on quotation. Electric classes carry the same capacity and the same rate as their standard counterpart. Example vehicles are a guide and we confirm the class booked. The SUV class is the exception: it is fulfilled with a long-wheelbase Range Rover, not an equivalent vehicle.

Are you licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. HK TAG Ltd trading as HK Executive Travel holds a Transport for London Private Hire Operator Licence, number 11919, and a Hertsmere Borough Council Private Hire Operator Licence, number 780. Every driver is licensed by TfL and holds an enhanced DBS check, and every vehicle is licensed and PHV plated. We carry hire and reward insurance, public liability and employers liability cover. Licence and insurance certificates are available to partners on request through the Documents section of our GNet profile.

Question 5

How much notice do you need, and do you take same-day work?

Accepted Answer

We prefer 24 hours notice, which lets us allocate the right vehicle and driver and confirm straight away. Same-day and short-notice work is accepted subject to availability, so send it through and we will confirm or decline quickly rather than leave you waiting. Airport arrivals are covered by flight tracking, and we ask for the flight number on every airport job. Sprinter and larger group work, and any job needing a specific vehicle such as the SUV class, benefits from as much notice as you can give.
